We master breathing, add a gentle warm-up, work on turnout and body alignment. Prepares the joints for movement.

Engage the legs: learn tendu and jeté, practice lengthening the line, working on turnout and point of contact.

Workout 2: Jumps and Ballet Steps

Learn jumps, develop lightness in movement. Adds dynamics and a feeling of flight.

Workout 3: Battements and Cross Movements

Add short and quick leg movements — train precision, strength, and reaction. Work on cross-linked combinations.

Workout 4: Pas de Bourrée and Chaînés

Learn pas de bourrée technique and turns. Improves coordination, sense of rhythm, and ease of moving through space.

Workout 5: Arabesque and Adagio

Combine previous elements into slow, steady combinations. Work on balance and body line.
